we were so bored when my friend came over we did this...i got 1,500 licks and my friend got 800 licks.we sent it in to the tootsie roll company (address found on wrapper) and they wrote back saying that it all matters of what ur salivia is made up of.

i think it depends on the size of your tongue :) and how slowly you lick it..but my teeth aways seem to take over :)
