Preheat oven according to directions on crescent roll package.
Unroll but leave intact 2 triangles of crescent rolls.
Pinch seam together and cut lengthwise into 5 strips and then cross-wise to make 10 strips.
Roll each strip around one sausage and place in baking pan that has been sprayed with non-stick cooking oil.
Sprinkle each pig with parmesan and garlic salt.
Bake according to crescent roll package directions.


Brunch Biscuits

12-14 slices fried bacon, drained and crumbled
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup diced green peppers
1/4 cup diced onions
2 (10 ounce) cans hungry jack biscuits
1/2 cup melted butter


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease tube pan.
Mix first four ingredients in bowl.
Separate biscuits into 20 pieces, then cut biscuits into 4 pieces.
Toss biscuits with bacon and other ingredients.
Put all this into tube pan and drizzle with butter.
Bake for 25-30 minutes.


You can never go wrong with a fruit salad. Asparagus and artichoke dips with bread sticks are always popular among the guests.

Those cocktail wienies wrapped in dough. FInger sandwiches. Fondue with cheese dip and bread. Veggie tray with salad dip, various chips and salsa, buffalo wings, various friozen appetizers from Costco. Lots of liquor

Definitely nothing with seafood in it.
Certainly something that's light and not too meaty, sweet, or savory.
You can serve cute little pastries or maybe openfaced sandwiches.

Small dishes of fruit salad, fruit on skewers, anything with fruit.


Just remember...brunch is like lunch, but with cantaloupe...

This year at my sisters, she always has a Christmas brunch we made fruit kabobs, muffins, biscuits, fancy crackers with cream cheese and ham, celery with cream cheese and caviar, hummus and and smoked salmon on cheese toast. We also had mimosa's, wine spritzers, smoothies, fancy alcohol drinks, and juice. There was also real food served these were only the appetizers. It was a great party.

Depending on your main course you have many options. I like to do a seafood appetizer followed by an egg course then the main then a sweet to round it out:
shrimp martini
eggs florentine
chicken divine or glazed salmon
lemon mousse with wafers

Go to the store and get some deli meat and a head of lettuce and a couple of tomatoes all that is under 20 bucks,tell them to shave the deli meat thin and some sub rolls and make mini subs.

Mini Caesar Salads in Crouton Cups
Makes 12 servings

Butter Flavor No-Stick Cooking Spray
12 slices white bread
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon rosemary
1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
4 cups romaine lettuce, finely sliced into 1/8 inch strips
2 green onions, thinly sliced, plus additional for garnish
Caesar Salad dressing, to taste
Shredded Parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 12-muffin tin with Crisco Butter Flavor No-stick Cooking Spray. Trim crusts off bread; spray both sides of bread with Butter Flavor No-stick Cooking Spray.

In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, thyme, rosemary and cracked black pepper. Lightly sprinkle mixture over both sides of bread.

Use a rolling pin to slightly flatten bread and embed the spice mixture. Press each slice into a muffin cup, allowing edges to hang over cup.

Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and crisp. Remove from oven and cool. Toss lettuce and green onions with dressing. Spoon salad into Crouton Cups. Garnish with shredded Parmesan and green onion slices. Serve immediately.

Asparagus Roll-Ups

16 fresh asparagus spears
16 slices sandwich bread, crusts removed
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
8 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
2 tablespoons minced fresh or dried chives
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Place asparagus in a skillet with a small amount of water; cook until crisp-tender, about 6-8 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Flatten bread with a rolling pin. Combine the cream cheese, bacon and chives; spread 1 tablespoonful on each slice of bread. Top with an asparagus spear. Roll up tightly; place seam side down on a greased baking sheet. Brush with butter and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Cut roll-ups in half. Bake at 400° for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Yield: 32 appetizers.
