Does anyone have ideas for a cake that is airplane based?!

Question:

Does anyone have ideas for a cake that is airplane based?

My boyfriend is going to college to work on planes...so anything that has to do with that. Thanks

Answers:
If you go to coolest-birthday-cakes.com there are a ton of really cute ideas. You can view a bunch of ideas, and use parts of each cake to make one that you like best.

When you get to the site (you need the dashes in between the words) click on "vehicle cakes" over on the far left. Then scroll down a little, click on airplanes, and you will find 8 very different plane cakes to choose from. They each have a description and some have directions too.

In fact, if you just go to the Yahoo home page, and click on images before you type anything in - you'll get lots of pictures of what you are looking for. Try typing in the words plane cake, airplane cake, or even airplane tools, and see what you get.

Good luck!

If he's a good sport, an airsick bag cake.

If thats not his humor, how about a captains' wings pin cake.

I think that wiggles has the best idea, but you could just make a standard cake and buy a small airplane or jet to go on top of it and then write what you want on top of it.

Wiggles wins my vote! I don't have anything any better.

A cake with a sky pattern on it....frost a sheet cake with blue frosting, then use a paintbrush for the white frosting clouds. Put a little plane toy or something on the top if you like.

Have a picture air brushed on it of your fav air craft.
Put small plastic airplanes on it from the dollar store.
