What are some good prom themes?
My friend is turning 25 and wants to have a prom theme for her Birthday... dressing up, punch, then whole bit... I am trying to organize it.... can you help me come up with a theme? (And maybe some ideas) Thanks!

Give it a casino/James Bond theme. Have everyone dress up in tuxedos and dresses. Set up poker, roulette and other casino props.

Red carpet affair, everyone dress up like a movie star. Or, a murder mystery, there are kits at the party stores, everyone gets a role to play. It is all a secret! Have fun!!
Pirates of the Carribean lots of decorations and costuming for this theme.
Go with what's hot right now, such as the Grease theme. Dancing competition, costumes required.......

it is a listing of prom theme kits you can purchase. They're wicked expensive - but you can get ideas and then go to your local party store!
How about south pacific themed -- grass skirts, coconut bras, palm trees, funky tropical "mock-tails"

My Prom theme was Hollywood where we had a red carpet and bouncer type people opening doors of cars etc. Last years prom theme was Arabian Nights and this years is kinda like copy the OC or Laguna Beach shows
ok.. CLASSIC PROM: colors (baby blue-light pink).. helium baloons with long ribbons.. a punch bowl.. a photo booth.. these flower bracelet things that guys used 2 give girls.. lots of music
this year i am going to prom, my prom theme is Mascarade, so everyone is dressing up formally and wearing masks that match their dresses or tuxes, and if people cant find masks before hand their is going to be a little place where people can make their own at the prom. i think that would also be a lot of fun for a birthday. just have everyone dress up and have supplies to make masks! it should be super fun! good luck!

How about rock and roll? Use CD's as a doorway to go thru (hang them with fishing line, juke box, etc. Stumps has great rock and roll themes.
