Question: What to have on "Christmas-pud" } Custard--Cream or Brandy !?
Answers:
Absolutely everything you can think of, christmas pud is just an excuse to eat as many sauces as possible lol!. get a big plate and turn it into an artists easel with different coloured sauces, bright yellow custard, white rum sauce, a dollop of brandy butter, some ice cream, whipped cream with tia maria in, sit a piece of pud in the middle and pour runny cream over the top!. extremely sickly, full of calories, really bad for you - but then isn't everything else at christmas - its just once a year!! Personally I would whip a small liqueur glass of Cointreau and a level teaspoo of icing sugar into half a pint of double cream, pour brandy over the steaming pudding and set light to it til the blue flame was extinguished, then spoon heaps of my cointreau flavoured cream all over my portion, and that of anybody else with classy tastes!Oh, and there'd be a jug of custard on the table for my dad!
