Should I make food for a college birthday party that will begin as late as 10:00PM?!

Question: Should I make food for a college birthday party that will begin as late as 10:00PM!?
I'm actually a little older than the average college student, so I don't know whether they'll be thinking the same way as I am!. I considered making food AND appetizers, but I was told that since it's a college party that I shouldn't worry too much!. Basically everyone is bringing booz, so should I cook!? Or should I just stick with chips a some finger foods!? It is a birthday party, so I'm wondering if I should have cake, as well!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Order a couple of pizzas, put a few bowls of chips and dip out, cups for drinks if theres any, a tub of sodas!. You could get a cake just keep it simple though unless this person is a good friend of yours then go a bit out there!. You could have mini hotdogs in cresent rolls, veggies and dip unless you dont trust the crowd thats gonna be there!. But if you wanna do a little bit keep it very simple dont go out of your way to cook a whole lot of food, keep it finger foods, chips, pizzas and drinks and all should go well!. Oh dont forget to put any breakables up and away and lock any rooms you dont want ppl trapsing in to for a lil love!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would do finger foods and dips only!. People will munch thruout the night!. You can easily make tortilla roll ups, put out some sushi, little smokies, veggie & fruit tray, cheese and meat tray, crackers!.!.!.for dips you can do queso, salsa, ranch dip and a favorite at our parties the Lori special!.!.!.again an assortment of chips!. Yes, do a cake!. Everyone likes cake!!

Lori's special dip:
1 thing of sage jimmy dean sausage
1 can rotel
2 blocks of cream cheese

brown the sausage
cut up cream cheese and microwave to soften it- JUST SOFTEN it, do not melt it all the way!.
Squish the cheese with a fork, and then mix in the drained, browned sausage and rotel (you may want to drain a bit of the rotel juice, but not much)!.!.!.mix and serve with tortilla chips!. It seriously is the best dip ever!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

yes, you should definitely have food available!.
some people will nibble while they drink but by 2am everyone will be starving!
i would go heavy on things that include cheese and bread---pizza, sandwiches, cheese and crackers, chips, dip, the regular appetizer fare will be good!. i wouldn't worry too much about cake-maybe some cookies!?

I think you should stick with the chips and finger foods!.!.!.!.!.after all 10 is kinda late!. Unless you cooked a night before, but I think chips and finger foods are great!. And also some kind of cake!.!.!.!.!.you can't have a birthday party without some kind of cake!. It doesn't have to be a big cake but maybe some cupcakes or something(so you don't have to worry about cutting) Www@FoodAQ@Com

If it's starting at 10, you should be fine with snacky foods like chips, pretzels, nuts, etc!. Since it's a birthday party, though, I think cake is definitely called for (or cupcakes, which might be a bit easier for a party like this)!. Have fun!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Pizza
Beer
Chips
Pretzels
Nachos
Skip the cake
Most people don't want cake when they're drinking!. But if you want to buy yourself a small cake for yourself to eat later on, then go for it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Just get snacks so people will have something on their stomachs with all the alcohol!. And no on the cake!. Doesn't go well with beer and the birthday person is probably to old for a cake!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Nah dont worry about cooking they are right about the booze!. I would have a tasty little easy treat like chocolate covered strawberries and cheese and crackers!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Ok, I am in college!. No, no food, I wouldnt recommend cake with drunks either!. Maybe cupcakes because there much more finger friendly!. Grab some chips and you should be pretty good!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yeah just the finger foods and chips! Cake is essential but get enough for a lot of people!Www@FoodAQ@Com

you don't have to go all out, maybe a few snacks or one hot appetizer if you likeWww@FoodAQ@Com
