i know this is totally off subject but i luv my chemical romance!!!
about the weight loss, if you are doing this to just make sum1 happy excluding yourself it will go along much slower. if you really want to try and do this for you and make yourself feel better, find a sport you enjoy, eat the foods you like excluding those real greasy ones and if that is the only food you like just give it up ( like a new year resolution) and start feeling better about yourself.

You could lose weight by consuming less food, forcing use of nutrients currently part of the weight in one's body.

Don't eat so much.

NUTRI-system

Eat smaller and smarter.

you have to eat in smaller proportions and eat more vegetables and fruits and don't eat anything or drink anything heavy past 6pm
Also there are home exercises you can do at home

eat healthier
eat a LITTLE less
try to be active

run in place
do a fun sport

As a trainer to my friends, I usually answer that question by telling them to cut a leg off-- instant weight loss! Right?

Then after they gasp, and tell me they care about the quality of the weight-loss in question, we find a way to *become* active people, by finding fun activities they will actually enjoy doing every day, or at least three times a week for about 40 minutes at a time, nonstop.

There is jogging, walking, swimming, stair-climbing, jump-rope, boxing, bicycling, tae-bo, aerobic dance, and a lot of other activities and sports you may not have considered, but might actually like.

Eating "less" should always be coupled with physical activity, otherwise, your metabolism will learn to burn calories slower because it thinks you'll need to store those calories on your belly, thighs and hips.
And eating calories below a specific limit also risks missing essential amounts of important nutrients in your diet.

Secret: we are all active persons, but not everybody has found an activity that works for them.

do a little at a time throughout the day and eat healthier .... after you do..... you will start to become much more active...and will look and feel sooooo much better.

I was disabled by a drunk driver and i am not active at all because of it. I am trying to lose weight for health reasons and I have had much success with slimfast. I've lost 60 lbs on it before so i know it works.
If you walk 30 min a day that will help you to lose weight also. You can break it down and walk 10 min 3x a day for the same benefit.

Get a pedomater, and try and get more steps in than the day before, until you are getting over 10,000 steps a day. You could also take-up a sport that you enjoy, that doesn't require too much effort like swimming, where you are distracted from food, but still have fun and burn energy. Also drink lots of water, and eat lots of small meals through the day. Find someone with similar goals to you, and someone that has also accomplished these for inspiration. Also keeping a food diary will enable you to track your flaws, and find healthier but nice substitutions for the same thing, but with less calories. Good luck!

If you're not very active, a great place to start would be to get more active. Short walks are easy, free and can be done almost anywhere.

If you don't want to get more active, try drinking more water, eating more veggies, or just eating smaller portions of what you eat already

You could eat a little healthier, try to take the occasional walk, limit your food intake, but not to much. Also, drink water instead of pop. that will make a big dif.

Good luck with loosing a little bit!

Its probably because you are overweight that you are not active. I have been there & it is very hard to make the effort to exercise. If you are serious about losing weight & you can't do it by yourself as I could'nt, find someone else in the same predicament & do it together. I wish you well....( No cakes for morning tea )

perhaps if you are not so picky, you could change your diet lifestyle like being a vegetarian and see if that works for you... other way is to add more fiber and fruit in your diet and less protein and less fat (both saturated and unsaturated)

the vegetarian part, I tried. It worked for me, I lost rapidly but then I regained because I consumed fatty food.~ but nowadays, i add sit ups and push ups in the morning, before starting my day, refreshing my body... in addition, when i remember through the day, I would stretch even when i am standing for the bus or while sitting in the office.

try to eat 6 small meals a day instead of 3 normal sized, or large or more meals if you eat a lot. that's so your metabolism can always be working and therefore constantly burning calories. worked for me.
