Spa party - facials, pedicures, manicures. Get all the girls together and just hang out.

Black and White party.
Have everyone dress in either black or white.
No color allowed.
Serve finger foods & play good music that everyone will enjoy.

well i remember my 17th b-day seems so long ago lol! but what i did was had like a 70's b-day or u can do the 80's theme party everyone would have to come in 70's or 80's gear and play a mix of 70's 80's or any music that u all may like so hope that gives u an idea..

Your birthday party should certainly involve your friends, their friends and your relatives. It should be in a neutral location like maybe even renting four bowling alley lanes or a karaoke rental place. If you carry in all the soda pop, snacks chips, pizza etc (if they will let you) you'll save a bunch of moaning and groaning from your friends and for sure bring your music of choice so dancing will happen. I went to a huge party at a woman's club once and they brought in a D J and four of the guests were in a band and so played a set too! (that was a long long time ago) but it was huge fun. they had ping pong and a dart board set up outside under a patio cover. Happy Birthday

Go to the local pizzera and purchase the ingredients for enough large pizzas to feed the group. Have a pizza bar and take the dough and divide it so it can be made into individual pies.
