Simple and cheap but goes over well!.!.!.

Meat platter with at least 3 kinds of meat rolled up
with 2 kinds of sliced cheese rolled, swiss and provolone work well for this (decorate edges of platter with leaf lettuce)

Platter with leaf lettuce, sliced tomatoes, and sliced red onions, place on platter in 3 layers with lettuce on top then tomatoes then the onions!. (very pretty and appealing)

Spinach salad made with baby spinach leaves, sliced fresh mushrooms, and bacon bits!.
AND a Ceasar salad (pre-packaged)
a nice Ceasar dressing works for both salads (place in bowl with ladel or in pretty decanter)
and add a nice bowl of croutons!.

Large bowl or basket (pre-cut) variety of kaiser rolls

Large bowl of mixed, single serve bags of potato chips (no waste, can keep any left over)

coffee, tea bags and hot water, cream and sugar
a tub of mixed soda on ice!.

SERVE ALL BUFFET STYLE!

Of course, the wedding cake!

If you have a Sam's or some place where you can buy bulk, all this can be purchased cheap!. Even your platters and plastic bowls, serving utensils, etc!.!.!.!.
Depending how many guest as to quanity, but rule of thumb is, figure 3 to 4 slices of meat per guest!.
