A couple different things depending on what part of the meal you want to provide!. I haven't made most of these, so I can't give recipes for them all!. You could do some sort of wakame (seaweed) salad or miso soup as an appetizer, both of which should be pretty cheap!. Main course, maybe a simple udon or soba dish!? Or nabe/shabu shabu!. If you're willing to spend a bit more, you could do miso mackerel (like this http://japanesefood!.about!.com/od/seafood!.!.!. )!. Dessert, you could do mochi, mochi ice cream, or green tea ice cream!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Tempura should be included - and you can make it yourself!. Have a look on Google!.

Otherwise how about some fried duck in a plum sauce with rice and vegetables!? Quite Japanese, if you use a Japanese recipe for it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yeah i think terriyaki chicken too! You can probably buy some bottled sauce to make it easy!Www@FoodAQ@Com
