i want to make my boyfriend a really delicious cake or a good dessert for his birthday, and i'd rather not do it out of a box like usual haha!.

Fondue!. So easy!. Here are two kinds:
Dolce de Leche (like caramel):
Boil one unopened can of sweetened condensed milk for three hours!. Make sure the water is always at least an inch over the top of the can so that the can does not explode!. Let cool in water, open can, pour out and serve in a fondue pot!.
Easy Chocolate fondue:
Buy a bag of chocolate chips and a carton of cream!. Bring a saucepan of water to boil and set a ceramic bowl on top!. Pour into the bowl some chocolate chips and a little bit of cream and stir as the chocolate melts!. When it's melty, add more cream until you reach the thickness you want!. Pour in too much!? Add more chocolate!.
Both are great with pineapple, marshmallows, apples, berries, etc!.!.!.!.

You'll need: 1 (19!.8 ounce) package brownie mix, 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, 1 egg, and 1/3 cup white sugar!.
Prepare the brownie mix as directed!. Preheat oven to temperature indicated on box!. Grease a 9x13 inch pan!. Spread the brownie batter evenly into the prepared pan!. Using an electric mixer, beat together the cream cheese, egg and sugar until smooth!. Dollop the cream cheese mixture on top of the brownie batter!. Swirl together using a knife!. Bake according to manufacturer's instructions!. Brownies will be done when a toothpick inserted comes out clean!. Cool in the pan, then cut into bars and serve!.
They are good!.
