Combined sweet 16 party?!

Question:

Combined sweet 16 party?

my friend and i [we're both girls] are having a combined sweet 16 party next month & we're not really sure what kind of things we should do at the party. it will probably be held at one of our houses, but that's not definite. any ideas? i

[nothing too expensive--and since it's february next month, we'll need to have something indoors]

ohh, & it's an all-girls party too

A really fun thing that my sister and I did when our daughters born 3 days apart turned 16 was make a collage of pictures taken of them individually from birth to age 16. These collages were displayed on the gift table and everyone got a kick out of them. The party was a girl/boy party with dancing and snack foods. The girls were invited individually and each brought their own date.

have each girl bring 2-3 dresses or outfits that they think are hideous and play Teen dress up with them and have contests who can put the make up on each girl the most terrible...you know blue eye shadow and black lipstick then double dare each other to go to different places like to the grocery store or even the taco bell and laugh it off, Also make sure to have music in the house. Or even bowling at an indoor bowling alley can be fun and not as expensive... it's indoor and in public.

if your parents are ok with that (which i don't think so) try cooking something new. it will turn out to be a catastrophy but you'll have fun destroying the kitchen:))
