What kind of food should I have at my boyfriends surprise birthday party?!

Question: What kind of food should I have at my boyfriends surprise birthday party!?
I am throwing my boyfriend a surprise party for his birthday, he is turning 22!. There will probably be about 10-15 ppl at this party and I was wondering what kind of food young guys would want and if I should just do snacks or more of a dinner!? I have a small budget for this party so inexpensive suggestions would be most helpful!. also should I provide alcohol or is BYOB ok!? If I provide alcohol what should I get and how much!? Answers:
you could do pizza/pasta/breadsticks from pizza hut or somewhere!.
You could do bbq or just hamburgers and hot dogs or steaks
you could have a salad, or a veggie tray!.!.!.

whats his fav food!? Www@FoodAQ@Com

Barbeque sounds awesome!!! lol!. Just get lots of meat and pre cook them a bit (because you know guys, they're hopeless cooks) and let them grill it for the finishing touch!.
Supply buns, cheap packets!. Plenty of sauce you might already have!.

Then throw together a salad bowl!. If you can afford it, have chips and wedges with flavouring on top!.
Nachos with salsa dipping is also really cheap to do!.!.!. a whole big packet of nachos and a simple recipe for salsa!. top notch!

Get a friend to supply the "basic" alcohol" and others to bring more if they want!. Say like a few bottles of beer if thats what they drink!.

If you can't have a barbeque just have fresh hamburgers from the kitchen and lay out the table so people can make the burgers themselves (slices of tomato, sauces, egg, whatever you fancy)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Have a barbeque!.!.!.!. make it casual for a bunch of guys (no formal dinner)!.!.!. tell them to bring their own alcohol but provide some punch as well!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
