Help....I need some dinner ideas?!
Just wondering if you could all share some yummy dinner ideas!. My 3 little girls are getting sick of the same old thing!. Any ideas would be great! Thanks!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Answers:
-Meatloaf with ketchup and mashed potatoes and green beans or peas
-Macaroni and cheese with peas mixed in
-Tacos (fun because everyone can build their own, and they're easy)
-Home made vegetable soup (you can buy alphabet noodles, even) with grilled cheese sandwiches
-Twice baked potatoes or regular baked potatoes!. Like tacos it's fun because you can have different toppings that your kids can choose, like steamed broccoli, shredded cheese, diced ham!. You can also use sweet potatoes!.
-Stuffed cabbage rolls (not the easiest to make, but tasty) or stuffed bell peppers (easier)
-Lasagna: you can change it up, sometimes doing it with ground beef, other times with a mix of veggies, or a combo of both
-Spaghetti and meatballs
-Hotdogs and beans (chopped hotdogs with baked beans)
-Breakfast for dinner: scrambled eggs, omelettes, maybe pancakes or waffles!. I think an omelette with veggies and cheese is probably the healthiest
-Bagel or English muffin pizzas
-Burritos or some other kind of wrapped sandwich
-You can make tuna or chicken salad with sour cream instead of mayo, and add noodles and peas, celery and onion!. It's a tasty pasta salad!.
Get your kids involved too, depending on how old they are!. You can ask one of them each week to find a recipe or an idea they'd like to try!. They can get it from a friend, or the internet, or make it up themselves!. Try to make it seem like a fun thing, instead of a chore!. Each kid can have their special day, and everyone can help prepare together!. The whole family shares in both the triumphs and in the dinner ideas that should not be repeated!. ;-) Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com
