materials for party that you probably need to buy:
-plain t-shirts for as many people as you are inviting including you!.
-a pack or two of fabric markers or permanent markers!.
-paints and a few paintbrushes!.
-plain rubber flip-flops (one pair for each person you invite including you!.!.!.also: trust me, at craft stores, and dollar stores they are a buck a pair)
-probably 3 packs of balloons!.
-b!.day cake
-a dvd
-snacks
-popcorn
ok so, you have all guests gather up at a table and receive their t-shirt and flip-flops on top on the the table!. set out the packs of markers, paints, paintbrushes, and scrap fabric you can find in your house or old clothes you dont want anymore all on the center of the table!. oh yeah and the balloon packs on the center of the table, too!. oh and scissors!.
set out some snacks on the table to pass around and munch!.
have everyone decorate their t-shirts!. if they want to put scrap fabric on their shirt, hot iron it onto the shirt with an ironing board and an iron- it will stick itself on like that!.
then have everyone decorate their flip-flops by getting the balloons (deflated) and tying them onto the wedges of the flip-flop!. it will look like this: http://kangarookidscollection!.com/asccus!.!.!.
they can write in permanent marker anything on their flip-flops, too!.
have them write their name on the bottom of the flip-flop, and their initials on the tag of the t-shirt!.
ok, that probably took an hour!.
next, do cake and presents!.
ok, that probably took 45 min!.
next, watch the dvd with your guests while having popcorn!.
that took 2 hours!.
then have everyone leave and take their custom flip-flops and t-shirt!.

Rent a couple movies, invite a few friends, make some popcorn and hot chocolate, bake a cake and just chill out!. If you have a video game like Rock Band or Guitar Hero those can make for great parties too, but if not some 80's classics (Might I suggest Breakfast Club or Ferris Bueller's Day Off!.!.!.) will keep everyone happy!.
