How does this sound for a small Thnksgiving dinner for 5?!
I'm having a small get together for Thanksgiving at my home!. I don't have a lot of cash, I am allergic to turkey and ham costs too much!. I thought of a last minute alternative!. Here is what I put together so far:
1) Main dish, Stuffed Parmesan chicken breasts!.
2) Stuffing!.!.!.with fresh celery, parsley, cranberries, onions and walnuts!.
3) Mashed potatoes!.!.!.!.cheap!.!.!.!.easy!.!.!.!.lots of potatoes=2$=yay!
4) Homemade gravy with mushrooms, shallots and white wine and drippings from the chicken!.
5) Small tea sandwiches as appetizers!.!.!.!.bread=cheap!. Most of the fillings have cream cheese and something!. Examples: Cucumber mint, smoked salmon, pimento cheese etc!.
6) A side of green beans or salad!.
7) A mystery dessert my BF has planned!.!.!.!.type unknown!.
8) A really pretty sectioned tray with fall themed candy!.
9) A few decorations and a fall print tablecloth, fall candles etc!.
How does his sound!? This is an informal, small gathering and everyone knows I am not serving turkey and they don't mind!. Is there anything I should add!? Subtract!? Any suggestions!? Www@FoodAQ@Com

thanksgiving is a social holiday, like christmas and new year!. the turkey is the main meal of a thanksgiving dinner and various types of dishes, that are like the peripherals of the turkey itself; like swedish meatballs, empanadas, dim sum, takoyaki, stuffing (mmm! mmm! i love the stuffing more than all the thanksgiving meals themselves!.), catfish, lobster, anything you want as a thanksgiving dish!. good luck on your thanksgiving meal!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sounds delicious, except the walnuts!.!. Maybe its just me, but why do people put xmas munchies in stuffing!?!? I hope grandpa has strong dentures lol!.!.!.Really though, it sounds awesome!.!.!.They will love it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

go by the dollar store or big lots and see if they have some nice festive platters!.!.!.they usually have SOMETHING!.
