Question:

I want to throw a very trendy 18th birthday party?

I understand that you want what you want :-), so try the following sites. Also, if you have time, be creative in your thinking. There are lot of options that might be less expensive than an hotel or traditional party venue e.g., museums often rent space for parties, colleges/universities (if not during school year), public parks, private homes (depending upon your ability to guarantee the safety of the home and its contents), etc.

The first link below is for Gathering Guide which is a great resource for unusual venues. The second is for Vacation Renatl By Owner. I've had success in my area getting owners to agree to allow me to host events.

Happy 18th BD!

What is your timeline? How many people? Daytime or night?What is your budget? I ask because it is "season" and you know what that means if you live in the Palm Beach area. You will have a hard time finding any nice places because this is the prime time for charity events/balls etc. I would opt to do a themed catered party at your home. And be sure to have an open "mock-tail" bar and gift bags for your guests.

Just have a beach party!;

Go to the beach! That's what being 18 and having a beach is about! Invite all your best buds and take hot coffee, good nibbles, and some games like football, volleyball, badminton, &c. and go for it. BarBeQue some oysters, feast on stone crabs, corn on the cob, that sort of thing.
Happy Birthday and have a happy day.
