Are there parks around Lake Tahoe that you can reserve for a BBQ?
I'm looking to host a BBQ in the Lake Tahoe area at some point this summer and need to know of parks that I can reserve (or just turn up at) where we're allowed to BBQ. If there's a view of the lake then that's even better. I don't mind if it's the CA or NV side.

you could try Camp Richarson it's on the CA side and i believe they have rentable bbq'ing areas and spaces right on the lake. Also Kahle park..which is on the nevada side..its not right on the lake but is a very pretty area. They have a whole BBQ gazebo set up..along with kids park things, bathroom and a huge grass plyaing field. This you can just show up at OR make reservations to insure your space. Call Kahle community center for more information on that one. You can google that for the yellow pages directory..not sure of the phone number. Another place is Zephyr Cove beach..and Roundhill Pines. (both on NV side) Roundhill Pines is a GREAT place and right on the lake. I believe you can reserve places there as well. Hope this helps...
