I am hosting a dinner party and wish to know the right way to serve?
I am pulling out all the stops but need to know who I serve first. I am the host so do I start with the male (vip) guest then the female (vip) guest or do I serve my wife and I first. The dinner is for ten people and I will set the table like a top table. please help

I don't have the time or I do this for you ,but may be you can fine something on line on proper Etiquette tips......I know there's different ways to set up the seating arrangement, but you are always at the head of the table you wife at the other to your right is the guest of Honer and then his or her partner , that's one way.

Start with a female guest first, then proceed in order around the table, yourself last.
Female guest of honor is served first. Then down the table to your wife's place. Then down the other side of the table from the lady at your left's place. Your wife and yourself last.
