What dressing would you use on spinach & strawberry salad?!

Question:

What dressing would you use on spinach & strawberry salad?

Answers:
poppyseed

This is what Graybert uses and it's very good.

Dressing
1/3 cup white sugar
1/2 cup oil
1/4 cup white vinegar
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
2 tablespoons poppy seeds
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons minced onions
Combine dressing ingredients; mix well with hand blender.
Toss dressing with spinach and strawberries; serve and enjoy!

balsamic vinagrette

Balsalmic vinegar is a miracle. It works with meats, vegetables and fruits. I don't have exact proportions, as I cook by instinct, but I use this on my spinach/mandarin orange salad:

About 1/3 cup good balsalmic vinegar.
Sugar to taste. 2 tablespoons?
1/4 cup or so canola oil.
Onion salt to taste

1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup white wine vinegar
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 teaspoon paprika
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
1 tablespoon poppy seeds

In a medium bowl, whisk together the oil, vinegar, sugar, paprika, sesame seeds, and poppy seeds. Pour over the spinach and strawberries, and toss to coat.

Spinach and strawberries are both extremely strong flavors. Your dressing should be extremely mild. Try a simple oil and vinegar dressing, with crushed walnuts.

2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon of white wine vinegar
2 teaspoons of crushed walnuts
salt and crushed white pepper, to taste

This dressing will give moisture (from the oil), extract the flavors from the sliced strawberries (vinegar) and add some crunch (walnuts).

catsup, sugar and vinegar

a strawberry or raspberry vinagerette

Honey mustard or a raspberry vinaigrette.

Strawberry's- what about chocolate melted over it , cream or even sugar makes it nice and sweet.

Spinach- NO idea!!! HATE it . LOL

I often make this salad with a couple of additions. First, I cook peppered platter bacon and crumble it, then I add feta cheese and candied walnuts. The dressing that I use most often, if I'm not into making it myself, is a French Dressing or Kraft's Catalina dressing. Yummy!

Try SpindelFarms Pomegranate Vinegar straight from the bottle or mix with a little oil and garlic. I think you can get this on line: spindelfarms.com
