Karaoke is the best! You guys will have the best time doing that and don't hold back just take that mic and go first and once you do, you will have a blast......you can pick up some inexpensive karaoke cd's at wal-mart or you could just use cd's that you and your friends use all the time either way you will have a blast......also this may sound crazy but have your mom or dad make up a scavenger hunt to find a bunch of things if you live in a small and safe area like a list of things that you can ask different people for my daughter is doing this for her birhtday and whichever team brings back the stuff first get's some sort of prize. It would be fun and a list of things to look for could be things like:
A paper clip
rubber band
a bottle of glue
a purple ink pen
12 cents (since you are turning 12)
etc...... think of twelve items and go for thoes keep the 12 theme going it would be a blast.....
Food wise-
Do something like little smokies
bbq meatballs
nachos
chips and dip
fruit and dip
little sandwiches
pizza cut in little squares
there are so many fun foods just do a variety of things and then people can have what they want!
Play suck 'n' blow and serve pudding pops and pizza rolls.
Yum-O!!!
well you're only having like 6 people so i dont know if its going to be a party that EVERYONE is going to be talking about. food..the usual: pizza and cake. one time i went to a party and the center piece of the table was a fruit bouquet. its basically a design like flowers but only made of fruit. it was cool. idk what type of games but you could talk about music, boys, celebrities and stuff like that. good luck.
for games what is really fun is twister, dance dance revolution, truth or dare ,would you rather etc.
for food you should have some sort of snack mix, popcorn, and pizza and cake and ice cream
I would shorten the party! Maybe from 4:30-7:00. Great parties are not long and drawn out... they are going strong when it's time for everyone to go home! Leave the guests wantitng more, rather than staring in boredom at the clock wondering when their mom is coming to get them.
