What are some game ideas to have at a 7 yr old birthday party?!

Question:

What are some game ideas to have at a 7 yr old birthday party?

it's bratz themed and we have a pinata and we are having pizza-any ideas on games to play to win prizes

Answers:
Poor Kitty

Indoors
Equipment: 1 blindfold
Formation: Circle

Arrange the group in a circle with a blindfolded player in the center. Then have the players move around the circle very quietly. The blindfolded player should approach the
circle in any direction and secure a victim who,
in a disguised voice, says 'poor kitty' and then imitates
the 'meow' of a cat. If the blindfolded player fails
to identify his prisoner, he releases him and the game continues. If he succeeds, the two change places.

Let’s go Shopping:
This activity is a fun way for the girls to fill their goodie bags. Divide the guests into two groups. One group are the store keepers and the other the shoppers. Give each shopper 10 coins or beans and a shopping bag. They then "buy" the party sweets or snacks they want, and place them in their shopping bag. The girls manning the stores are instructed that each girl can buy 1 item from each store. You can also have a "store" with party favors. When they have all spent their money the groups swap rolls and the other group can now go shopping. To ensure all girls get goodies have two sets of shopping items.

Fashion Parade:
Little girls love dressing up, so let them do so at the party. Collect all sorts of clothing items - bags, belts, skirts, tops, shorts, shoes, etc. You could also get fantasy clothing. Place them in a room. Let the girls get undressed and dress up in the clothing. When they have chosen their outfits let them hold a fashion parade. Award each girl with a prize. Find something special about each girl's fashion statement, to award.

simon says is a classic! =D

You could have a treasure hunt of some sort. Hide stuff around the house and yard and write a list of clues for the kids to solve. Shoot, I'd still do that and I'm 22.

Pin the tail on the donkey (or how about pin the ponytail on the Bratz)
Musical Chairs
Hot potato
Scavenger Hunt

pin the tale on the donky. a clown. a jumper. slip n slid ( tell them to bring bathing suites and towels).

give them cool gift bags

Bratz themed is inapropriate for such a young age. The child will look at the dolls half naked body and seek to be just as she is. Who would want their child to be seen as a "brat".

Instead, evoke her spiritual side, by throwing a JESUS CHRIST party.

Each child can take a role of that seen in the last supper, dress up, and understand their spiritual world even better.

you can do double dutch who ever jumps the most wins or who can blow the biggest bubble. also you can do a drawing contest. pretend you were the kid and what you would want to play.

Put the tiara on the Bratz (like Pin the tail on the donkey) using a largish sketch of a Bratz doll. Normal games like musical chairs and pass the parcel can fit in fine too.

egg race- with eggs on a spoon
scavenger hunt
try not to say a certain word when you do say it you have to give up something a necklace or a token who ever has the most at the end wins

Play with bratz. If not, play hide and seek where everybody hides their bratz and whoever finds the most wins . I guess.

Have you though about renting a bounce house? Check your local yellow pages under party supplies. 7 yr olds love bounce houses.

one game that i can think is leap frog or follow the leader

name the doll
pin the tail on the donkey
pass the parcel
lolly scramble
guess the amount of lollies in a jar

try some dolly (bratz) dress up.

-tortoise races
-dead lions (of course you have to call it sleeping lions now)
-pass the parcel
-picture consequences
-duck, duck, goose
-(depending on how many kids) twister
-blind mans bluff
-balloon passing (you know that game where you pass the balloon between your knees then over the next persons shoulder etc)
-the eating a slab of chocolate with a knife and fork + gloves and blindfold game.... you must know it.

there is this game called the night game one of the kids is it and has to scare the other kids but the other kids can also scare the others to and who ever scares the most kids win you should give the winner candy or a toy.

See if you can borrow someones Dance Dance Revolution game and have a dance off. The game has all different levels...so anyone can play. It is a huge hit.

I have a little girl turning 8 in Feb. and this is what we are doing:

Go to walmart in the craft section and find the little tubs or in the bathroom section and find individual sized bottles and then buy things like vaseline (for lip gloss), unscented lotions (large economy bottle) to dump into tiny individual bottles, different nail polishes in all sorts of colors, and things like that then buy some ultra fine glitter and let the girls make their own make-up! You could also buy the spray bottles that are empty and cheap and fill them with water and then let each girl add glitter to that to make her own glitter body spray.......my daughter loves bratz too and even though I am the furthest thing from AGAINST my kids knowing about God I don't think that they are too young for this. Another thing you can do is go to a dollar store and buy each one a feather boa and then the make up that they do themselves is the giftbag that they take home! Good luck and have a blast!
