for my son's 6th birthday he wants a beatels theme birthday party do you have any ideas for favors, cake, invites, ect.
Answers:
Yellow Submarine (sandwiches)
Strawberry Fields (strawberry shortcake or strawberry pie - deserts)
Abbey Road (Rocky Road) Ice Cream
Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds cake (sheet cake with sky blue icing, and white frosting puffs (the diamonds).
Penny Lane and Rocky Raccoon (sound like ideas for creative party favors don't they)
Assign the party guest names of characters from the Beatles songs, (Penny Lane, Maxwell Addison, Desmond and Molly Jones) and have them 'mime' their parts when their song is played: (example: Desomnd and Molly would 'mime' their parts when obli di obli da plays.
Many of the nuances may be lost on 6 year olds, but....
Serve Dr. Pepper and call it Sgt. Pepper
Serve the strawberries from Strawberry Fields Forever
