Employers, would you please consider me?
Nearly 2 years ago my husband and I made the mistake of putting a stop payment on check for a used car that was a lemon. The dealer pressed charges and while we paid in full, as you can imagine words had been exchanged and they refused to drop the charges. Leaving him with a felony conviction. He has never been in trouble with the law prior to this his record was impeccable. Since, this occurance, he has not had any trouble. My husband is 41 years old and has a bachelor degree in business management and over 15 years of resteraunt management experience. We live in Ohio and and have two teenage daughters. I work from home and my job is it easy for me to move. We are willing to relocate if it means we can better our circumstance. He has been working as a hotel auditor for nearly two years and we just are not making it on $10/hr. He is very experience and everyplace that he has worked the employees really like his management style. Thank you!

Normally, I am not a fan of lying. However, in this case, I think I'd put on an application that you have NOT had a felony conviction. It's none of the employer's business. JMHO.
Just have his record expunged, ask a lawyer how to get it off his record
Is there anyone in the restaurant business who hasn't had something crop up on their record?? Talk to a lawyer. They know ways of getting things fixed. It's like disputing a charge on your credit report.
I'd hire your husband in a second if I still had my restaurant. Good management is hard to find.
