What is a hookah house?!
A friend ask me to go to a hookah house and I was just wondering what a hookah house was!? I know it's some kind of a bar, but why is it called hookah!? Just curious!.!. There's no info on the web to answer my question so I though I'd ask on here!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Hookah House is a place where smoking is the norm!. Flavored tobacco, weed, or anything else that might be smoked!. In times past they were referred to as opium dens, where Opium was smoked in Hookahs, the smoke bubbling through water to make it cool enough to not choke the smoker!. The same is still true, A hookah consists of a pipe, often with several mouthpieces, where the smoke of the burning substance is drawn through water, to cool it before it enters the lungs of the smoker!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Hookah is a type of pipe which normally has 3 or more tubes from which you can smoke your preferred tobacco, native smoke, herbs, etc!.
Hence, a Hookah House would be like a pub for ppl who like to smoke out of a Hookah!.
The water in the hookah does not clean the smoke going to your lungs!.MANY studies show that contrary to popular belief the levels of compounds coming through the hookah are AT LEAST as high IF NOT HIGHER than cigarette smoke!.
Sharing the mouthpiece (commonly known to many hookah smokers as a "condom") has a risk of infection including HERPES
