zoot suiter era was in the 30's and 40's, so I would just look online for world war 2 era clothing...I found a site that rents costues to give you an idea

cool era research music mood clothes find out what the parties in that era was and what movie stars were cool, maybe have everyone dress like their favorite movie star of that era
