Hummm--definitely need cocaine and spandex. Plenty of KC and the Sunshine band. As for decorations, anything gawdy and diso-esque.

Disco ball and groovy blue light posters... and lots of beads.
beaded curtains. Lava Lamps. Disco light. Harvey Wallbanger's for cocktails (google the recipe).
Episodes of Terry and June and The Good Life playing silently in the background should add a bit of retro-kitch.
Tie- die shirts and bell bottom jeans. Hot pants. Paisley decorations. Peace signs. Go-Go boots, white ,of course. "Make love.... Not War" signs. Janis Joplin with Big Brother and the Holding Company singing, " Oh Lord, won't you buy me a Mercedes Benz...."

go to a thrift shop and by old plate & drinking glasses.......the tackier the better
Disco balls, lava lamps, scarves hung around the room, long beaded "curtains", Rubik cubes, don't forget to play a little "Dave Mason's" We Just Disagree ...for me! You can have water pipes and fill with a nicely blended tobacco instead of, well, you know (wink-wink), big pillows on the floor, incense, The "Saturday Night Fever" CD (or LP if you have a record player!!!), Make sure you have a blender, ice, many mixes and some vodka, OJ, cranberry juice(Sea Breeze-yum!), if it's in more then one room, put some old 70's movies on at no volume (use the closed captions instead)....very cool idea...I could go on!

nice wallpaper, disco ball, give your guests fur scarfs, big hats, and those huge colored sunglasses, put some pictures of Marlyn Monro , get those nice legs they use for display long Stockings on it or leggings, and put it as a display, this will add a sexy atmosphere;
