Who writes the fortunes for fortune cookies?!

Question:

Who writes the fortunes for fortune cookies?

Answers:
a machine

A machine. Didnt you see that one movie?

a machine that prints them

Confucius used to. After he passed away, the Chinese Fortune Company hired his brother Ho Chi Mihn

a computer does. fortune cookies are mostly made in california and some random people make them up and a computer distributes them on the paper to be baked into the cookie.

monkeys are trained to type a certain phrase over and over. they are also chained to thier desks to prevent them from escaping. the
restaurant manager goes to the back and sees if they're doing thier work correctly. as the fortunes are finished typing they are kept inside a barrel where the fortune cookie maker can just grab a handful when needed. if there's any fortunes running out, the restaurant manager tells the monkey's what they need more of and the monkey's start hauling *** and typing whatever fortune phrase they're low on.

Someone who's obviously not very lucky himself- or he would have a better job! :)

People who don't know what fortunes are. These cookies should be called "platitude cookies" or "old expression cookies". I haven't seen an actual FORTUNE from a fortune cookie since sometime in the 1980s.

I have to assume that the education system is to blame - as the older writers retired, the younger writers came in without a clue about what a "fortune" is.

origionally it was the russian stalin who described himself in statues everywhere as the great and the one and only. and he and only he would tell everone what was in store for them and he liked cookies,so since he almost had china in his grasp he made it a law they put his propganda in the cookies but as time passed and he died and china populated into a starving country they needed to make money so they keep wrting stuff in their cookies and the japanese couldnt so they watched chuck norris films

I don't actually know who writes the fortunes, but I can tell you it is probably NOT a Chinese person. They don't have fortune cookies in China. It is strictly an American thing.

probably some old chinese guy

little fu man chu like caracters
