What did we eat at kids partys in the 1980s?!

Question:

What did we eat at kids partys in the 1980s?

Having a '80s kids' themed kids party, what did we used eat, while playing pass the parcel, and musical chairs.
I remeber Jam sandwichs, little sauages, and the obvious jelly and ice cream......anything else?

Answers:
ANGEL BREAD!
Butter slices of white bread and dunk face down into a plate of hundreds and thousands to coat. Cut into triangles and serve.

BUTTERFLY CAKES
Make cupcakes, slice the top off, put fresh cream on the bottom part then cut top in half and place on top of cream to make wings. Powder with icing sugar or hundreds and thousands to decorate.

I was a kid in the 80's and we always had ice cream and cake..... ALWAYS.

I remember pizza. Since the skating rink was a big thing in the 80's for me and my friends, we almost always had our parties at the skating rink.

Cant help you with that one I cant even remember wot I had for my tea tonight

Wow! now that will be a cool party.

Party Rings!! Biscuits with different colour icing on the top. I still love those things now, although never a plan to eat a whole packet to yourself

What about cheese and pinapple on sticks... another favourite of mine! It wouldnt be an 80's party without those.

Jelly & Ice cream, ham sandwiches, egg sandwiches, sausage rolls, cheese straws

Wow I love these sort of questions! All I can remember other than the other things mentioned is those marshmallow cakes with chocolate over them.. and of course party rings. Hehehe

cheese and pineapple chunks on sticks stuck in a grapefruit covered in foil, sausage rolls, little sausages, jammy rings, cheesey crisps, those funny crisps with the cool shaps(hearts, diamonds ect) iced gems, coke floats (cocoa cola and ice-cream in a glass) bacon rasher crisps, jelly in the shape of a rabbit - done in a rabbit mold, jelly put in the empty shell of an orange, cherryade and limeade and orangeade

My abiding memory was cheese and pineapple chunks on sticks and twiglets.

We use to make our own mini pizzas. We ate cheetos, jello, rootbeer floats, snickers pieces hidden in cupcakes, sparkling cider in wine glasses, ice cream bars called DD bars, cheez whiz on celery, and no bake cookies. Remember though it was all about presentation. Think Dalles or knots landing. Everything was on tulle, gold foil, and layered. Have fun....

I was a kid in the 80's and we ate pizza, typical snack foods like Doritos, rice crispy treats, and green M&M's (they had special powers--hehe).

pizza

i remember lots of icing sugar and colours thats what i rememeber good luck and fairy floss

Rice Krispy treats! My mom made a game out of them by wrapping the squares individually in Saran wrap, tying a ribbon around each with a big bow, and we fished for them with a "fishing pole" made out of a ribbon attached to a pencil, with a bent paper clip for the "hook." It was loads of fun!

I don't know if these excited in your part of the world or not, but for me growing up in the midwest it was "Showbiz Pizza" now its called "Chuckie Cheese's" but it was an arcade for kids, plus pizza. It was awesome!!!
