Easy and cheap - put a room temperature block of cream cheese into a decorative shallow bowl or on a Christmas plate, then warm up a can of chili and pour it on top of the cheese - serve with Ritz Crackers! SOOO good!. (Arrange the crackers in a nice little basket and add fake holly on the bowl to formalize it up a bit)

You can do the same thing with the block of cheese and a jar of apricot preserves, or pour caramel over the cheese and serve with wedges of green apple!.

Or if you want to go more formal, yet still keep it easy, go to the Food Network website and see Sandra Lee's "Semi Homemade" ideas!. She's brilliant!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I love the spinach dip in the rye bread!.

You hollow out a loaf of rye bread and put the mixture inside!. Then you cube up another loaf of bread and use that for people to dip!.

The dip is made of 2 packages forzen chopped spinach (thawed-with teh water squeezed out of it), 1 container lite sour cream, fill that container with lite mayo, 1 package Knorr vegetable soup, and 1/4 cup chopped water chestnuts!. Miz that all together and lit it sit overnight in the fridge!. Right when you're ready to serve, put the dip into the bread on a platter and arrange the bread cubes around it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
