Answers:
Hey! I had a party for my cousin in that age group and they loved it!!

Food: The cheapest way to do it is to have light appetizers- cheese crackers, chips, dips, etc!. Pigs in blanket are always a hit and sooo easy to make (buy crescent rolls and the little cocktail franks and wrap a bunch)!. Drinks: soft drinks are fine!. If you want to get fancy, get some non-alcoholic champagne!.

Decorations: buy some leis at a local party store (iParty), a few New Years decorations or even print out some on the computer- 2009!.

Music- make an iMix or go to iTunes for advice of the popular songs!.

Keep it simple and HAVE FUN!!

Think of non-alcoholic cocktails- like a festive punch or get exotic juices (blueberry, pomegranate) and mix them w/ seltzer and sliced limes!. You can also find confetti "shooters" (which will a pain to clean, but worth everyone's enjoyment)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
