Winter wonderland themed party?!
I'm having a winter wonderland theme party!. I have a large budget!. I have rented out a facility, rented the DJ, and plan on inviting about 100 people!. Any ideas are appreciated, especially activities and food!. It is a 13th, BTW!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

For food, being it's winter themed, you can do things like have Gingerbread houses, candy canes, hot cocoa, and then some winter comfort foods like mac and cheese, chili, and whatever else you, your family and friends would eat this time of year!.
For decorations, I would do things in a white and bluish/silver color, maybe even add some candy cane color to the mix!. Like have the poles in the facility wrapped to look like large candy canes, then have white and silver garlands around the area, get some of the light blue Christmas Balls and hang them around in all different sizes, you can get silver ones too!.
You can also go to the crafts store and get cotton batting, put some white glitter in it and make it look like fake snow!. IF you put it on the floor though, make sure it's NOT where people walk, if someone catches a heel or foot in it and falls, they can get hurt! Otherwise, you can put it on the tables and have Gingerbread houses sitting on top of them etc!.
You can get styrofoam balls and make snowman and paint them to look like snowman!.
You can get those paper laterns, the ones without the lights, and hang them!.
You can get paper snowflakes and hang them from the ceiling, add the white glitter to them too, that would look really pretty!
Get some white and blue Christmas lights and string them around the facility, have them on during the party to add a nice mood to the party!
For activities:
You can do dancing obviously being it's in a hall!.
You can do Santa Says, instead of Simon Says, and have a prize for the winner!
You can do cookie decorating, either Gingerbread or sugar cookies!.
You can tape a candy cane under one chair and whoever is sitting in that chair wins a prize!.
You can do Karoake with Christmas Carols
Being you have a DJ, have him give a line to a Christmas Carol, and have someone have to give the next line to win a prize OR have him play like two seconds of a Christmas Carol and whoever names the song wins!
You can also do Christmas Trivia! Have the DJ or YOU, ask questions related to Christmas or Winter and for prizes you can either do whoever gets the most right wins or give a prize for each right answer!. Some examples would be:
Name all of Santa's Reindeer
What is the Website that tracks Santa on Christmas Eve!? (it's Norad)
Name 5 Christmas movies (It's a Wonderful Life, A Christmas Story, Christmas with the Kranks, A Santa Clause, Christmas on 34th Street) Or whatever they come up with!
Name 5 Christmas Cartoons (It's a Charlie Brown Christmas, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, I want a Dog For Christmas Charlie Brown, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, The Year Without a Santa Claus, Frosty the Snowman) or whatever they come up with!.
What's the name of the town the Grinch stole Christmas from!? Whoville
What's the name of the snowman in the song, Walking in a Winter Wonderland!? Parson Brown (It goes, "in the meadow we can build a snowman, and pretend that he is parson brown, he's the minister)
You can come up with SO many more!
For desserts you can do the traditional cookies like sugar cookies, Gingerbread men, etc!. You can do cocoa with marshmallows and stirrers dipped in chocolate, etc!. Then do cupcakes or a sheetcake!.

Have everyone dress in all white!. Serve white food like popcorn or ice cream!. Give out silver glitter make up or white mittens as favors to give out to the girls at the party!. Have fake snow or rent a snow machine for real snow!. Make a great punch with pineapple coconut ice cream and Sprite with a frozen ring of ice in it!. Decorate things in silver, clear and white!.!.!.!.plates napkins, tablecloth and centerpieces!.

Dance contest!. Door prizes!? With a party that big, you can't really plan any "games" like bingo or charades!. All you should need is a good professional DJ and plenty of food!. The rest will handle itself!.

My daughter's friend just had an "ugly sweater" theme party!. Maybe you have already had one, but it was a great ice breaker!. The guests didn't have to worry about choosing the right outfit!.
