What's a good food to eat a pre-winterfest(fancy school dance) dinner? something not messy please

Mesclun Greens with Candied Walnuts, Mandarin Oranges, and sliced Strawberries. Topped with a Raspberry Vinaigrette.
Um....how about cut up apples, rice crispie treats, and salad without dressing.

Okay, this is going to sound weird but trust me it is great: sliced apples wrapped with a slice of salami or sliced green melon wrapped in honey ham from the deli. Sliced french bread that has been lightly brushed with olive oil toasted under the broiler then sprinkled with fresh Parmesan.
I also recommend a website for Nabisco. There a variety of appetizers for the young and old. I think you will find what you are looking for if my suggestions above don't work for you.
