Besides my stomach,.. hey we have a albertsons,,, thier fried chicken in MY OPINION freakin rocks for the price,.. I do not know anybody whom does not love the chicken,, it's cheap and easy. I most certinally would not disrespect you for that, go with a variety of everything and everyone is pleased,.. a little can go a long way.

Chicken breasts eheh

Sandwiches - snacks

Hot wings and beer.......what time and where?

I would go for a hot meal, especially in the winter months. But how about combining hot with sandwiches, to make it easier...a hot sandwich like a bbq beef would be easy to have ready ahead of time (bbq in crock pots). All manner of chips and carrot/celery veggies with dips, it could be like a tailgate party for the superbowl theme.

a cold cut platter, and bulkie rolls. Then they can make their own, and converse

Sub sandwiches, potato salad, cole slaw, beans in a crock pot.

sandwhiches, chips and drinks. They won't appreciate something "all out" like women do - plus they are not as picky. Stay simple and they will be just as happy. Most of all - full stomachs which is what they care about.

Sandwiches. Just bring a few meats like ham, turkey, maybe roast beef or salami. Make sure you have some side items and some veggie options. It will be simple and efficient.
A hot meal can be messier and more difficult to prepare.
If you do chicken, you will have to decide how to prepare the chicken. And some men might not like the way you prepare it or some may not even like chicken at all.

I say sandwiches. Use french breads, make about 6 of them. Turkey, ham, roast beef, and Italian. Other than the lettuce and cheese, I'd keep other toppings like onions, tomatoes, pickles, black olives, green peppers and oil and mayo on the side. (think sub-way) Then cut them into hand sized sandwiches. Most guys will eat about 3. Serve with chips. You could also have a pot of chili to go with it. Keep it simple, most men are easily impressed!
Good Luck!!

Men would probably prefer hot food. Why don't you do a big pot of chilli - that always go down well. Otherwise, do a crispy buffet selection: crispy prawns, mini burgers, veggie wraps, drumsticks.

Spaghetti with Italian sausage
Green Salad
Garlic Bread
Apple Pie a la mode

A Hot Meal using Beef:
Hungarian Goulash or
Beef Stronganoff or
Irish Beef Stew or
Beef Burgundy.
with a good Red Wine.

Assuming that this is going to be a business formal meeting, you would be best to get something that will be easy to eat in a jacket and tie. sauces and messy food can do a real number on a nice silk tie. i would recommend something clean and easy, like wraps. you can very the fillings (ham and swiss, turkey and provalone, etc) and the type of wrapper (wheat, spinach or tomato)

Men love to build sandwiches, put out a cold buffet with assorted meats and cheeses. They love salads too, like potatoe and pasta.
Offer assorted sauces like horse radish sauce for the roast beef and even salsa for them to use. Get assorted rolls and breads. Pickles and maybe a fruit tray for dessert. Men like strong cheeses. gooood luck

San Antonio Chicken Salad

Makes 4 servings

Ingredients:

2 large whole chicken breasts, split, boned and skinned
1/2 cup salsa
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 ripe avocado
1 cup sliced celery
Bibb or leaf lettuce leaves
4 crisply cooked bacon slices, crumbled

Preparation:

Cut chicken into 1/2 inch cubes. Combine salsa, cumin and salt in 10-inch skillet. Cook chicken in salsa mixture, stirring frequently, until cooked through, about 4 minutes. Transfer contents of skillet to mixing bowl; cover and chill thoroughly.

To serve, combine chicken mixture, sour cream and mayonnaise. Mix well. Peel, seed and coarsely chop avocado. Add avocado and celery to chicken mixture. Mix lightly. Spoon onto lettuce-lined salad plates; sprinkle with bacon. Serve with additional salsa on the side.

Just keep in mind MEN do not particularly care for fancy crap... Making them something as simple as huge sub sandwiches would be right up their alley. You can make them fancy looking by using marble rye breads and some nice wheat breads.

Keep the toppings to a minimum but have a tray of add-ons for them to choose from if they so desire. Don't forget the beef jerky strips and pretzels too.
