You could go out for dinner and have everyone pay their own way. Usually Mexican is cheap. Getting a lot of people together for dinner is always fun. Then maybe go bowling. Do I sound like a dork? I really do not know what 18 year olds do anymore, and I'm only in my mid-twenties!
Went clubbing and lusted after my girlfriend's best friend. Was ok but not sure I'd recommend it.
I spent it with my close friends and family. I went out for two meals, one with my friends and one with family! thats all i did i didnt want a party! Its my close friends and family that matter to me not people who pretend to be your friends and even more being selfish expecting presents of them!
18th bday's are all about getting hammered. Why don't you do the cheesy limo with champagne in the back? When I was 18ish I did that for a few of my mates bdays and it was great.

i got so drunk that my kidneys popped a whiskey flavoured substance all over the barmaid!!!
Ooo its mine next week and I'm thinking the same, perhaps try going for a meal first and then onto a bar, that way you get to spend time with those underage before u go clubbing. If you fancee something more exciting take a day trip on the train to the beach or nearest nice city, doesn't have 2 cost to much n its an adventure lol. Or alternatively look for gigs on on your birthday if ur perhaps into a certain band cos thn its a night out with a bar available but you don't necessarily need to be 18 to get in.
My birthday is only 4 days apart from my friends birthday & we had a hawaiien themed party at my house.
We decorated the whole house, dressed up in costumes, got recipes for some tropical cocktails and had a yummy take-away.
It was an excellent night, we even played limbo!!! We all could get a bit tipsy because we were home then everyone stayed the night & we were able to chat about it in the morning, it was great!
The next day we went for a lovely dinner & had a good old chat & we all had a great time!
I'd definitely recommend it!

You can go out with your mate. You can hire a place for your 18th. Have you got local place or your favour pub? Just ask if there can put a do on for you.

My son had his 18th a few weeks back. He didn't want a party and has a similar problem as a lot of his mates are under 18.
So this is what he did...
I bought him tickets to see bands he likes as part of his present(this is still happening!! The last gig is in April!)
He had a meal at home for family and friends (if you can't do this find somewhere reasonable and ask people along)
On the big day itself he went to London for the day (with a mate and me) looking at stuff he likes and spending some of his birthday money.. went for his first legal drink, had lunch, played pool for a few hours.
My 18th?? I went out for a pizza with mates, went to the pub.. got hammered and gave my knickers to my boyfriend.. ahh those were the days!
18 ,must be into music.
nedsters concert idea is the best .a guaranteed good night surrounded by mates and other people who love the same music as you .whatever you do , just enjoy it mate !!!!
