How long should I leave my Christmas Decorations on my house ,in my yard?!

Question:

How long should I leave my Christmas Decorations on my house ,in my yard?

This includes one artificial and one live (keeping it watered) fully decorated Christmas Trees in my house.

Answers:
are they still up? awww, i have a problem with that too. i dont think it's weird; i just don't like seeing christmas go away. My neighbors still have their christmas tree on in the window too lol and I admire that. My mom took down the lights, but she kept the red lights up for valentines day. If you don't like the idea of taking down the christmas tree, decorate it with red lights and cupid arrows and all that stuff that goes with v day!! lol, that's what I'd do if I had my own house..just very nostalgic thats all

get it off. new years is the line you draw. if your in to it that much, open a christmass store

what the heck, at this point just leave 'em up. the decorations in the yard look great next to the pumpkin bags still strewn about the yard.

Well, get rid of the live one since its flammable if you forget to keep up with watering and taking care of it, other than that since it is your house its your choice you could leave it there all year for all you want but then again what is so special about Christmas if you leave it there, put it away and put it up again later in Dec when the time is right. Hope this is helpful.

Take them down now. The latest I would ever leave them up is January 14th. Plus, the live tree would prove to be a fire hazard by now. It would be nice if Christmas lasted forvever, but it can't.

Rule of thumb is once Epiphany is over (the last week in January) - all Christmas decorations should be gone.

However, most people like to take them down the week after Christmas so that they start the New Year off right.

So - definitely by the end of January.

Take the outside decorations down as close to Jan. 6th as possible. (Jan. 6th is Epiphany, and part of the "Christmas Season." (Just so the neighbors don't have one more petty thing to complain about.)

Take down the decorations inside your house any time you please. It is your house. If the lighted garland and stockings hanging on the mantle give you pleasure, then you should leave them up until you tire of them. But be sure to take them down before they clash with your spring tulip arrangement.... :)

like two days before new yaers because then u dont have to worry about it

New years Day is the cut off! It is supposed to be good luck to leave your tree up until then , but then please take it down. here in the south as of today there are still pumpkins up in yards!!!!!! If you decorate please take it down after the holiday.

Yeah, news years day is when it should all come down.
