What is the correct way to transfer the contents of a cheese ball onto a cracker?!

Question: What is the correct way to transfer the contents of a cheese ball onto a cracker!?
Do you slice a bit off with a knife, then use the knife to spread it onto the cracker!? That seems like too much trouble to me!. I'd rather bite right into the cheese ball!. I know that would be a big no-no at a Christmas party though!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

There are special little canape knives that are used for just that!. Ask at your local tabletop store or maybe the discount stores have them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Here is the BEST and most proper way to do it!.

Take a cracker in one hand, and then, with a spreader, scoop up a dab of cheese ball and lay it gently on the cracker!. You don't have to mush it down!. Just press it into the cracker enough so that it adheres and won't just fall off!.

Then, you and your lover gently feed each other, one luscious cracker at a time!.

Mmmmmmm!

What's that you say!? What about the OTHER people at the party!?

There ARE no other people at the party!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Are you kidding!? A big no-no is right Yes you should use one of those small serving knives and scoop what you want on the cracker-then take the cheese ball and tray and the crackers with you to a nice dark corner!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Use the knife to take some of the cheese and put it on your plate!. Then you can use the cracker to scrape up some of the cheese to eat it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Use a "spreader" to transfer the desired amount onto your plate and then either dip your cracker or use another knife for spreading!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
