How long is sushi edible?
hello....i ordered 3 party platters of sushi at noon yesterday (Saturday). only two were eaten at the party last night. i have one whole platter left and it's been refrigerated since i got it home. about 28 hours. is it still safe to eat? or due to fact that it's raw fish, do i need to discard it? Thanks!

Answers:
Nope. Sushi only last about 2-3 hours after preparation, even in the chiller. Same applies to the raw fish.

You have to consider the time taken to prepare the sushi and have it delivered to you. That's why most sushi sellers will tell you to consume within 2 hours.

I'd say it's fine if it's been in the fridge. It might not taste as good but you shouldn't get sick. I wouln't keep it much longer though

It's probably still good. Here's a funny thing about fish, when it has gone bad, it smells like .... fish.

the rice tends to really dry up, eat asap
