Answers:
ICE SKATING rink or ROLLER SKATING sorry for caps but my 12 year old nephew and his friends loveddddddddd it when we took them to the ice skating rink and cheap pizza some soda they were set for the whole day! No worrying about gift bags or games it was really fun for adults as well.

girl or boy?! laser tag is good

The old standby of movie and a pizza? Honestly, it's more fun than the elaborate parties. Five freinds out for the afternoon. Maybe window shop in the mall afterwards?

girl or boy

take them to a skating ring or bowling or have an indoor pool party or Dave & Busters there you can eat and play games even adults have fun there you can drink if you're 21 or older everyone can enjoy it kids and adults that's were my 12th birthday party wuz or go on vacation

If it's a girl, I would do a mall scavenger hunt.

That is where you go to the mall and take pictures of all these different places in lots of different stores & stuff.
Then you divide the girls into teams and all have camerass. Then they have to go through the mall and take their own pictures with the objects you took pictures of.

It really is a lot of fun for 12 year old girls....NOT BOYS!

sleep over for friends and then the next day we had a small party with family for the cake and ice cream.

Is this a single sex party or a mixed party of boys and girls?

Have a theme party remembering 1995, the year they wore born, tell them to wear clothes that were fashionable during that year. Have pics of musical artists, movie stars, newsmakers.

Make up your trivia game about 1995.

Rent a movie from 1995 and play it .

Girls always like sleepovers and all you normally have to do is have some good snacks , movies and music they like , maybe play games like cranium or scene it or the new american idol karoke game thingy.

If it is a female, a skating party, a dance party, or take them to have their nails done.

If its for a boy, then a paintball park or a scavenger hunt. I know the whole scavenger thing can be corny but its also fun if you do it right...you can get some cheaper prizes (a CD, a 6 pack of coke;).......movie passes....whatever)...and make them go on a scavenger hunt . It can be alot of fun if you have alot of people to form teams.

Rent scary movies and have a sleepover. A bbq with a bonfire is also fun for both sexes.

there's a place here in the Phoenix, Arizona area called
Amazing Jakes Pizza, maybe you have a similar place where you live. Amazing Jakes is like a Chucky Cheese Pizza Place on Steroids, kids go crazzy there

I would check out the website for Family Fun magazine, I get the paper mag every month and I use the site, they have ideas for everything from themes, invitations, snacks , recipes, favors, you name it...you should be able to search by gender and maybe even age range. it is the best mag for parents in my opinion

ok whats fun is if you have enough people....
funner for not shy girls (basically you just want to have a fun giggly time) :go to mall and have a list of things you have to ask a person at a certain store....i.e:
ask a guy who works at american eagles to show you where the bra section is. ps you gotta take pics or have them sign their name by the question....

or ask questions like:
go to someone and ask them if they will sing a soongwith them....best if you have a vid camera....
