Question: Need some good ideas on what to make with my Drunken hotdogs!.!?
I am making drunken hot dogs for Christmas Eve!. They consist of the hot dogs, beer, onions, salt and pepper and cook then in a crock pot till warm!. I am looking for a good easy side to go with them!. I was thinking of homemade mac and cheese but the kids are like ugggghhh you just made it tonight :D Anyone got any good ideas!?!? Answers:
You need some vegetables, even if it's just a green salad or celery & carrot sticks!. Try this casserole - all kids like tater tots:)

TATER TOT CASSEROLE
2 lbs!. frozen tater tots, thawed
1 pint sour cream
1 can cream of chicken (or potato) soup
8 oz!. shredded cheddar cheese
1 c!. melted butter
1 tsp!. salt
1/4 c!. chopped onion
2-3 c!. cornflake crumbs (or bread crumbs)
!.!.!.!.Mix all ingredients together (except crumbs and 1/2 c!. of the butter)!. Line a 9x13" pan with potato mixture!. Top with 1/2 c!. butter and crumbs!. Bake 1 to 1-1/2 hours at 350!. !.!.!. Can be made ahead and refrigerated !.!.!.!.!.!. serves 6-8

I have this ranch potato recipe- boil 8 red potatoes(not the small ones)- cook them until they are tender- cube them into bite size pieces- then toss with 1 cup of sour cream, 1 cup ranch dressing, 1/2 pound of crumbled(cooked) bacon, 1 cup of shredded cheese, salt and pepper- then top with more cheese!. Bake @ 350* for 20- 30 minutes- they are YUMWww@FoodAQ@Com

Screaming potatoes

Use red potatoes and cut into segments!.!.!. Season with whatever you like ( i use garlic and dill) Bake at 375 until you hear the potatoes screaming (about 30 min) and VOILA!! you have an easy, yummy dish that kids love!.!.!.and its super easy and quick!!
