I always fancy a lovely continental breakfast - croissants, pain-au-chocolat etc!.!.!. or scotch pancakes or crumpets and golden syrup - that sort of thing for a change!. You can do a selection and people can pick what they want!. It's best washed down with orange juice, or even better, bucks fizz!. It's a real treat and not quite as filling as a fry up (I never fancy slaving over a hot stove on Christmas morning when I'll be doing it for the rest of the day!)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Homemade cinnamon rolls, always a favorite!. Be sure to make them medium size so as no has to obligate themselves to a huge breakfast!.

Use crushed walnuts and/or pecans, I don't have the exact recipe around, but they make a great breakfast for a group of people and if done correctly can make x-mas morning special

Good luckWww@FoodAQ@Com

My xmas mornings living at home used to be getting up around 4am getting my younger brother to come into my room and we would open our stockings, and then go downstairs after waking parents up around 6!.30/7am, and open presents, then Mom would make a fry up for breakfast and then we would have xmas lunch around the same time as you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Cut bread into 1 inch cubes; place half in a greased 13 in!.x 9 in!.x 2 in!. baking dish!. Cut cream cheese into 1 in!. cubes; place over bread!. Top with blueberries and remaining bread!. In a large bowl, beat eggs!. Add milk and syrup; mix well!. Pour over bread mixture!. Cover and chill 8 hours or overnight!. Remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes before baking!. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes!. Uncover; bake 25-30 minutes more or until golden brown and the center is set!. In a saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch; add water!.
