Louisiana license?

I want to start an informal baking "business." I'm just wondering if i have to have any kind of license, and if so what kind? It wouldn't be formal, more like selling a cake or candy for parties and such. Just something small. Any help?

Technically all businesses have to be licensed in Louisiana. Especially those involved in food preparation. However, many businesses such as you are describing operate unlicensed in the beginning. They avoid expensive overhead while building up a customer base this way.
