maybe a nice bean dip with tortilla chips!. layer refried beans (black or red) sourcream, guacamole, salsa/tomatos, cheese - maybe cilantro and black olives if you really want to jazz it up!. throw it in fridge to chille (top layer should be cheese)!. (garnish with some sliced green onions)
also a lasagna is easy too because you're just layering the ground meat/sauce mixture, noodles, ricotta cheese and shredded cheese till you get to top later of meat sauce and cheese!. bake on 350 and enjoy!.!.!.plus both options will look kind of pretty!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Either prepare it then cook by bunging it in the oven at your hosts house (although, this could take up to 2 hours so dont do this if you're going to eat fairly soon after arriving) or cook it at home and then reheat it at the hosts house!.

A tossed salad is a rather inexpensive item to bring!. If you want a hot side dish: green beans with toasted almonds!. You can blanch the beans ahead of time & roast the almonds, then microwave it when you get there!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
