Dinner event ideas. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ANSWER - I'm Desperate!?!
We are organizing a dinner for a charity!. I have come up with a few extra ideas of what we can hold at it like a talent how and a short presentation at the beginning to explain what we are doing this for!. also I was thinking of getting a photographer to take photos and stuff!.

Make gift baskets and raffle them off!. Get donations from members of your group, and local business to fill the baskets!. Sell tickets and put a little bag in front of each basket; people put their tickets into the bag in front of the baskets that they want to win !.!.!.!.!.!.!. I used to do this for bridge tournaments and made tons of money! !.!.!.!.!. and forget the talent hour!. This is a dinner for a cause, and you should spend the time socializing and selling raffle tickets to make even MORE moneyWww@FoodAQ@Com
Ask local businesses to donate an item or object for door prizes!.Once we bought a Stereo then sold tickets for it!.!.It cost us 30 dollars and we made over 120 dollars for the baseball league!.We bought a roll of double numbered tickets for 5 dollars at Wal-Mart!.If you are doing the door prize be sure you a different colored ticket so as not to get the two confused!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Have a bake sale, those never fail, and what ever you have left over, sell that too!.!.!.or donate it! There is also have people donate a the door, whatever they can or will!. I would reccommend getting a dj!. Maybe you can find a company that will do it for cheap because it's a charity event!. a dj would help with the talent show!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Why not contact some local businesses and see if they would donate goods or services for a silent auction!? Salons could give hair cuts, manicures/pedicures, product; restaurants could donate dinners/ lunches; hotels could give a night or weekend package,; the possibilities are endless!.
