My sister had a Toga party --- is was soooooo much fun. She had entertainers intermingle with us (jugglers, belly dancers, etc). I was sitting on the floor watching one of the dancers and out of the corner of my eye, her basket moved!! There was a snake in it and it was only about 2 ft away from me --- I swear, if I could have gone through the wall behind me, I would of. Anyway, besides that, it was great.
I don't live in Philadelphia, but my 9 year old had her last birthday party at the pet store. Petland has B.D. parties in the store. For $50.00 you get a room with table and chairs, a party coordinator who brings pets into the room for the kids to handle, and a present from Petland. We brought our own food and cake. The kids had a blast!
If the party is for a little girl check with some of the salons in your area. I had a party for my daughter when she was 6 or 7 at a salon and her and some of her friends got makeovers. It was adorable.
There is also Laser tag
One of the best places to have a birthday party is in a church, mosque, temple.... U can celebrate ur party and have god's blessing.....
Fear Factor I just listed a question about it and got an awsome response it was invormative and I can have it any where go to californiadreamparties.com
The NJ state aquarium or a place like Dave and Busters in Philadelphia (not sure what age group you are talking about). If you're having girls only, in Haddonfield, NJ there is the cutest place called the Picket Fence which you can have a tea party. Tell all your guests to wear fun hats. I loved it there. I also went to a 3-D movie with a bunch of people in the Franklin institute at the imax theater.
Find a place were you can rock climb-thats exciting & fun,way better than bowling& skating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...
