Why do they call it a 'Denver' Omelet?!

Question:

Why do they call it a 'Denver' Omelet?

Why oh why? Does each omelet have Chunks of John Denver in 'em?

Answers:
A Denver Omelet is also know as a western omelet. Besides the egg there is cheese, bacon, ham, fried onions, gren peppers and anything else the chef has laying around that he or she want to get rid of.

Becuse they can't call it the whiteman omelet

Who knows!!! Why do they call it a dirty sanchez?

Cause they came from denver. Or maybe it was john denvers favorite omelet.

a Denver omelet is the same as a western omelet (what we call it in the east) and it became popular out west.
it has peppers, onion, ham and cheese.

ps I am rediscovering the late great John Denver!

Because Western Omelette was already taken. And no, it isn't chunks of John Denver, but little bitty parts of the city.

I believe a good amount of bell peppers are grown in colorado.

i dunno, maybe they're just being stingy bastards or something.... will u ever know the true answer??? Lol
