What are some good themes for my 18th birthday party?
I'm thinking about renting a hall and having a bash, but I want to do something unique. Any ideas?

You should host a "A Paris in the Springtime theme"
I would say that a unique theme would be street racing. Get people you know to bring their tricked out cars and see if they woud give friends a test drive or something along that line.
You could base the party on your favorite movie.
Grease, Gone with the Wind, something like that could be a lot of fun. Have people dress up as their fave character.
I love the tropical themes- there are lots of party supplies available for an island or luau theme and with the right food and music you can have a great evening

think about the things that you are interested in. You want people to know what you are all about and let your personality shine through.
Maybe you can even out do the kids from that "Sweet 16" show...
You can do pictures of yourself everywhere, get things personalized and show your face on it all, it might be a little full of yourself. But, it's your party you can shine if you want to.
I would stick what interests you....And remember you can get good stuff for cheap @ target, wal-mart, dollar store, marshalls, and K-Mart.
It does not have to be more expensive than your wedding.
Do like Diddy does and have a theme around a color.example Pretty in Pink, Ravishing in Red, Bodacious in Black Pick your favorite color and go with. Start with your outfit for the party and for your guests have to be the theme color to get into the bash. Then have all of your decorations the color you choose and a neutral color like white or silver. Have all of the food those colors. Many places will do a non alcohlic cocktail hour and have the drink the theme color and have the name of the drink your nickname.
Have your party favors be customized m&ms, you can customize then with your theme color and happy 18th birthday.

I'm not exactly sure what you could do at this party but maybe an orientel themed party???
have a red carpet celebrity party & take a limo w/friends to the party and have people to take pictures so that you are the celeberity at youre party!!!!!!!!!
