PORK CHOPS WITH POBLANO-CILANTRO SAUCE

6 poblano peppers, roasted, skins & seeds removed
? cup cilantro
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon coriander
1 tablespoon white vinegar
? cup of water
Cayenne powder, salt, and pepper to taste
4 pork chops
olive oil, as needed
onion, 8 ounces, chopped
6 cloves garlic, chopped

1) Puree two of the roasted poblano peppers, cilantro, cumin, coriander, vinegar, water, salt and pepper in a blender. Add additional water if necessary.

2) Brush the chops with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and cayenne powder.

3) Sear the chops on each side in the oil. Do not fully cook the chops. Remove them as soon as each side is seared and set aside.

4) Roughly chop the remaining poblano peppers and sauté with the onion in the same pan you sautéed the chops until the onions start to soften. Add extra oil if necessary.

5) Add garlic and sauté one minute more.

6) Return the chops to the pan and add the sauce. Simmer until the chops are cooked. About 3-5 minutes for half inch chops.

Try putting some stuffing on top, and then a can of creamed soup on top f that.

Saurkraut and mashed potatoes. See you at six.

Pork chops are good baked with creamed corn poured over the top....Makes a good sauce for your potatoes too! Cream of mushroom soup is good too. I brown them in a frying pan first then stir in the soup to get the pan drippings. You can finish cooking on the stove or bake it in the oven.

Brown the pork chops in frying pan, add cream of mushroom soup and thin with 1/2 can of beer.

take about six pork chops brown with a little oil in your pan and some onions(finely shredded) They you get a large baking dish pour in two cups of uncooked rice lay your pork chops with onions on top then pour a can of beef broth and a can of cream of celery cover with foil and bake forty five min then remove foil bake another fifteen to twenty min warm some sweet peas a fix a thing of corn bread this is a great and easy thing to make especially if your tired from a long day of work

I swear by pork chops baked with mac and cheese. Take 4 - 6 bone in thin chops, season liberally with Season All and set aside. Saute 1/2 to 1 onion in butter and olive oil until translucent. Make mac and cheese according to box directions (the more chops you make, the more M&C you might want to consider). To this mixture, add a small package of cream cheese and stir to melt. Put in a casserole dish that has been sprayed with PAM. Brown the chops in the same skillet that you cooked the onions. When browned, place on top of the mac and cheese and top with the sauteed onion. Cover and bake at 350 degree oven for about 40 minutes. The juice from the onion and chops will blend with the mac and cheese and it tastes yummy!

i like to cook my porkchops with 1/2 bottle of bbq sauce and 1/2 jar of pineapple ice cream topping with 1 tsp of ground dry mustard. just put it in a large pan and cook until the porkcops are done. they are really good and everyone i serve them to thinks i've put lots of time and effort into them and they are as easy as that!

something else i like to do is buy the butterflied porkchops, season both sides with lawry's seasoning salt and some pepper. then, i cook some stove top stuffing and place on the meat, fold it over and close it with a toothpick. i thne bake them until the juices run clear. you can sprinkle them when cheese when they are done.

feel free to season them any way you like them, i'm a little boring but i usually don't get any complaints on the flavor!

hope you like both of these simple and fast "gourmet" looking porkchop recipes.
