Can someone give me some suggestions for a birthday party meal?!

Question:

Can someone give me some suggestions for a birthday party meal?

I am trying to do something different than the other years and not spend that much money on the meal for my son's birthday party. I have done hamburgers, hot dogs, and grinders already for the previous parties. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

There will be 18-20 people here for the party. Kids=9 Adults=7 But maybe one or two more of each kid and adult.

make a big pot of chili or spaghetti and meatballs...

PIZZA, SODA, CHIPS, COOKIES, ETC. ARE VERY POPULAR IN KID'S PARTIES...

It depends on the age of your son, but pizza sounds great. Not too heavy, not too messy. Or you can have some catered sandwich's from Port of Subs, Subway, etc. Or you can make them yourself, buy some chips, juice, along with the cake and ice cream, and there you have it. Not too expensive and worth your money. Good luck and be Safe..(smiles)

Pre-bake little baboli pizza shells. Have toppings already cut up. Each person can top their own pizza and you can bake a bunch at a time for about 3 minutes (until the cheese melts).
Easy and fun.
toppings can be:
sliced mushrooms, black olives, diced onions, pepperoni, sausage and two or three different kinds of shredded cheese.

Afterwards, have a "make your own sunday" table:
Put three good vanilla bean half gallons of Ice cream, one container of caramel topping, one for hot fudge, whipped cream, nuts, sprinkles.
Each person can make their own. EASY EASY and POPULAR

Two Suggestions:
Homemade pizzas. You can buy the premade dough roll them out on cookie sheets, sauce, cheese, and your choice of toppings. People really like this. It's different than Pizza Hut and it's got a homemade feeling.
Rice Bowls. You make a large batch of white rice. Grill up some sliced chicken, cubed beef, shrimp, and veges -- you can use skewers for this. The guests get a scoop of rice in the bowl, they add the grilled items and then some Teriyaki sauce -- you can also have another sauce, like peanut or BBQ, to give people a choice.
Both are good and neither are expensive. You don't have that many guests that you'll be overwhelmed with the cooking.
Have a great party.

when i was younger our mom always made us home made pizza for dinner we looked forward to it every year. Pizza mix, spagetthi sauce or pizza sauce hamburger and mozzerella cheese. Its really cheap for 5 or 15 we were always broke growin up so this was a treat and affordable!!!

MAKE OR BUT CAKES THAT YOUR SON LIKES THE BEST.ALSO MAKE JUICES WHICH YOUR CHILD LIKES.YOU MAY GIVE HIM A NICE BIRTHDAY PRESENT WHICH HE WANTS.

spaghetti, a HUGE cake, chicken with dollops of sauce/gravy with rice(but tat's heavy)

anywayss Pizza sounds mess-free.

Set up a taco bar. set out bowls of taco beef and maybe some fajita chicken and then things like tomatoes lettace onion cheese salsa whatever and let people make their own tacos kids find it fun and who doesn't like tacos

Why would you waste ten points asking this same question twice?
