Question:

I'm after inexpensive ideas for a 30th birthday party?

i'm after suggestions of venues in the wollongong, illawarra (new south wales australia ) region. there is a limited budget so any ideas on decorations and catering and venues would be great.

Answers:
Make a Mexican feast...tacos (super easy and use ground turkey ), beans and cheese, lettuce onions , and some taco shells !!

It's SOOO easy to make and everyone loves taco's
fix it so you have all the ingredients on the counter and they can stuff it themselves however they like it!

go to the fabric store and buy mexican design cheap end of roll
stuff.

I did this with mine and i found that I wasn't slaving over the stove, I made the meat ..chopped everything , sliced everything the day before and had most of it prepared . for extra fun go to the dollar store and get cheap mexican looking bowls and plates!!

I made it fun and they were so impressed with the smells they still talk about it !!

It was so worth it !

Hi, I'm from NSW as well, except that I'm in Sydney. Unfortunately I do not know much restaurants or catering compaines in Wollongong. But here are some ideas on inexpensive ideas for a 30th birthday party:
1. BBQ at home - this is good as you can invite all your friends and family (large crowds) on a very low budget. Plus everyone just love a BBQ, especially when the weather is warm like now!
2. Dinner parties at home - you can add touch of tealight candles to enhanced the elegance atmosphere
3. Dine out at local RSL clubs (if there is any in your area)

Good luck and have fun!

30th birthday party..........make it a 70's theme. Have the guests dress in vintage 70's style clothes and play some disco music.
